Gather for Encounters with Jesus

Encounter Jesus together

After an hour or so of meeting people and starting spiritual conversations on campus, gather everyone together to experience community, encounter God, and gain vision for mission. This small group will be an important gathering place for the new community that's forming. Find a central and visible location and text anyone you met during your Faith Journey Quiz conversations (plus anyone you already know and anyone who’s been involved so far).

Watch how Bethany is using Encounters with Jesus to empower students to start something new on campus:

What will you do at your small group?

Starting a small group on campus with the Encounters with Jesus Series is more than a Bible study. Every week you’ll do three things:

1. Build community through hospitality, food, and fun
2. Facilitate an encounter with Jesus through scripture study
3. Send people out into mission in their networks

The Bible studies and leaders guides below will walk you through the steps of leading these components each week.

Before your small group meets, use a graphic to send invitations to everyone you've connected with on campus and post on social media as well.
