MADISON, WIS., February 27, 2004 – Alec Hill, President of ñ Christian Fellowship, announced today the appointment of Jim Tebbe as an ñ Vice President and Director of Missions, effective March 1, 2004. Dr. Tebbe was the Director of Urbana 03, ñ’s triennial mission convention, held in December 2003 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In 1992, Tebbe was appointed Interserve’s International Director.

“My life is missions,” said Dr. Tebbe, “and I am delighted to be a part of awakening students to proclaim God’s kingdom.”

Tebbe did his undergraduate work at Indiana University, where he was President of the ñ chapter. He received an M.Div. from Gordon Conwell Seminary, an MA in Near Eastern Studies/Islamics from Princeton, and a Ph.D. from St. John’s College in Nottingham, England.

Dr. Tebbe is married to Beth, who joins her husband in working in the Madison, Wisconsin based headquarters of ñ. They have four children.
